I KNEW there were three versions of it! Correct me if I'm wrong, but ver. 1 and 2 each have the braid at the collar, but going different directions, right? While ver. 3 has the braid at the sleeve, like the regular tunics?

Well, only version 1 had gold braid over Kirk's collar bones. It has a circular collar-line and no decorative trim.

Version 2 has gold rank braids on the sleeves, the collar-line is a straight v-neck, and gold trim has been added along the wrapping edges. Seen only in "The Doomsday Machine."

Version 3 is like version 2, but with black trim added to the v-neck area, inside the gold trim.

Odd. I remember one with the gold braid going up the corners of the collar line, instead of across the collarbones. Must have come up with that one myself.
