EDIT: ok, my bad - I believed what I read at http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...-film-love-scenes-motorbikes-hunky-stars.html.

As I just said in your TOS thread: That's not Uhura lying in bed with Kirk. Look closely. ;)

Popular opinion is that it's some Orion in your top picture there instead of Uhura.

Which, actually is very much in character. I'd expect nothing less out of him!

Ahem... and they'e also probably "not his crew" other then just being people he might have hitched a ride with...

I hate to tell you this - but you've just failed your heterosexuality test - you were unable to tell the difference between two smoking hot women.

However, as a representative of the homosexuals on the board, I'd just like to welcome you to our side of the fence and later at the clubhouse, I'll let you know about the health benefits.

That's not Uhura in the first picture. What's wrong with these ummm...misinformed but no doubt well-intentioned fans...posting this umm...inaccurate information?

And, even if it was Uhura, why is this a big deal? This appears to be set during their Academy years, right?

Plus, I find it strange how the relatively staid Picard, Riker, Sisko, and Janeway can apparently have relationships with members of their crew, but Kirk (of all people), cannot? Trek is weird sometimes.

I am not convinced their intentions are, um, "well."

I'm pretty sure a lot of people just like to bitch.

Sorry re thinking it was Uhura - here was my source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...-film-love-scenes-motorbikes-hunky-stars.html

When did any of that happen?

Picard was banging that chick from Stellar Sciences

Riker we know dated several members of crew - he ended up in sickbay at the end of one (anyone remember the episode)?

I agree that the girl lying in bed isn't Uhura.

The trailer does show a half-naked Kirk immediately before Uhura's bra scene. The trailer makes Kirk look a Peeping Tom.

Hence the edit.
... KIRK most likely DOES screw his crew, there are many a yeoman he took a long look at. We don't really know if he screwedthem or not but his history on TOS seems to suggest he's not beyond such things.

He looked at her? Well, that's damning. Certainly overrides his explicit statement that he's not allowed to notice his beautiful yeoman.

Picard had a relationship with a subordinate in "Lessons" and had was married to Crusher in "All Good Things..." (I know it was an alternate timeline, but as the character was the same the potential was there).

Riker has had many a flirtation and married Troi.

Sisko hasn't had a relationship with a direct member of his crew to my knowledge, but he slept with Mirror-Dax and married a civilian ship captain.

Janeway was close to having a relationship with Chakotay, especially when they were quarantined on that planet together.

And Kirk probably did "screw his crew," perhaps a few yeoman here or there. I would not at all be surprised.

And if objectifying women to the point where you can't tell the difference is a hallmark of heterosexuality, it's not something to aspire to.

Kirk did indeed screw his crew. Remember that chick who he nailed at the Christmas party that he flashbacked to.

-Shawn :borg:
Correct. He'll screw just about any willing female, crew or not.

Besides, they aren't his crew. He's a junior officer and not in command. At least not right away.
