A quick and easy trivia question....can you name the TOS episode(s) where Kirk uses Spock's science station hooded sensor viewer? There is at least one definite time, and another instance where he just sneaks a peak.
He uses the viewer outright in "The Galileo Seven."
I also remember the other instance, but I'll let someone else take it. And what Kirk said when he peeks.

You're a gentleman and a Trek scholar. I forgot about the scene in G7 where Kirk gets on the viewer and asks the computer about the Murisaki Effect. There is one more Kirk as Science Officer scene in another episode, in addition to his sneak a peak at Spock's viewer.

The sneak a peak scene is really easy....hmmmm, all 1st season episodes. Fascinating.

I believe we're talking about "Dagger of the Mind" when Kirk asks Spock "What's so fascinating?" and he tries to sneak a peek.
Is there any chance that when Kirk uses the viewer in "Galileo," it's really footage taken during "Mudd"? Little bit of a cost-saving move there?
