Actually, I can see the show ending in a 'ten years later' thing. We see various fates. Strickland Propane has a framed pic of its founder saying '99 Years Isn't Forever'. Bobby knocks the paste from the hands of a young Asian-looking boy eating it, saying, 'Cotton, that's not right!' Among other such things, we see the alley bunch, but whereas Bill has lost weight and gotten a decent hair-weave, Dale is now completely bald and fatter than Bill ever was, devastated by the news. Joseph calmly picks him up when he starts crying, perhaps glaring at John Redcorn, who gets a sad look when he does.
