Kindle Help- Bought a Book & Can't Get it on my Kindle

I just bought a Kindle book without thinking about the fact that I'm not in the range of a Wi-Fi network... and I won't be anytime soon. I have an older Wi-Fi that doesn't have free 3G. Can I get the Kindle book on my Kindle somehow via my laptop? Or am I gonna have to wait a zillion years until I'm in range of a Wi-Fi network???

You should be able to go on your amazon account on your laptop and see that you have things waiting to download, and get it from there. Then you can transfer the book to your kindle via usb.

If you've got your laptop, download to that (if possible) and usb it over to your documents folder on the kindle.
That's how I normally do it.

My favorite part about that is Kindle will convert books into the kindle specific format for you for free.

We used it a lot in grad school where several people are collaborating on a paper and people just loaded it to the kindle and take it on the go.
