So it looks like we might actually be leaving the Quad for at least part of next week's episode.
Is Seyah some kind of title for members of the Nine? I think I remember them also calling Pawter Seyah Simms last season after they revealed she was one of the Nine.
The names on this show can be a bit much.Damn my spell check really hates all of the names in this show.
Also, how 'bout that space station last night? From pipes on a ship to a nice wide hallway from some mall or office building, all to represent a space station that had a classroom that apparently only housed a small handful of children in cryopods. What the heck was the other 99.9% of the space on that space station used for?
...but all the SyFy promos for Sharknado and the spider show were awful.
I was pretty surprised Pawter actually became the head of her family, I didn't expect that. I'm really glad her and Johnny appear to be becoming a real couple, I like them together.
The Dav and Khylen body switch was a lot of fun.
Errr, how did Dad walk from the house to the power station without a suit like Evil fiancee and Johnny, and not get frozen by the fog?
One thing I noticed: We can now probably rule out the fan theory that Killjoys and Dark Matter are in the same universe. Dutch said that faster-than-light communication is impossible with known technology, but on DM they use FTL comms all the time. Although I suppose it's conceivable that the technology was lost at some point in some collapse of civilizations. (And it can't be that KJ comes first, because it's clearly much farther in the future, given the extragalactic setting and the distinct traditions and culture.)
I'm pretty sure those movies are dumb on purpose -- horror parodies meant for people who like laughing at bad movies. And they're a way for Syfy to pay the bills for the classier stuff -- something they used to rely on wrestling shows for, so I consider this an improvement.
The only minor disappointment for me was that we finally got outside The Quad, but all we saw was Dav and Johnny's father's living room.
