I like both shows so this makes me very happy.

Just for equal time:
Yay Dark Matter Season three!
Killjoys...whatever, man...
It's good in the sense that it's more sci-fi on the SyFy channel. More sci-fi is always better than less. Whether or not it's sci-fi I'll actually sit through is another conversation...Same here, just never got into the Killjoys but I like Dark Matter. Glad they are both renewed through.
Yeah, I hear ya. I watch 'em but consider both to be kind of filler material. As long as they aren't blocking other material getting made though no harm in continuing them and good news for the fans. It's good in the sense that it's more sci-fi on the SyFy channel. Now if we can just get rid of that horrible new credits sequence . . .![]()
The first season of Killjoys was a bit of a drag, but it has systematically gotten waaaay better this season.Same here, just never got into the Killjoys but I like Dark Matter. Glad they are both renewed through.
Do check out Dark Matter if you like a consistent story with a plan behind it (not like the Cylon "plan", mind), in that respect it's probably similar to Killjoys. DM picks up a bit slowly but the end of S1 and the entire S2 (so far, up to the 9th episode) are great.I haven't checked out DARK MATTER yet, but I'm definitely hooked on KILLJOYS.

There is far less emphasis on romantic relationships in Dark Matter (at least in S2), but I don't view that as a bad thing.
Funny how people see the same things differently. I think you are talking about the encounter between Four and Nyx and I don't think they were cold and awkward about having sex.
As for Killjoys, the whole threesome relationship between Dutch and the brothers seems strange to me. Supposedly a brother/sister relationship between Johnny and Dutch, she gets jealous of Pawter.
She has a sexual relationship with the other brother, D'avin, and then dumps him after he beats the crap out of her although she knows he wasn't in control and it wasn't really his fault.
