As long as she's big, strong and cool as hell I don't care who it is! :D I can't wait to see the face of the woman who's gonna chop off Jim Carrey's head! :klingon:
 
That's pretty cool, look at those pictures it's apparent what they're filming first.

I wonder if they're doing that so they can get all the gorier stuff out of the way first.
 
I have a feeling they're going to shoot both Lyndsy and Nic's stuff first. I could see them taking care of all the fighting scenes first. Maybe why they cast Mother Russia last? This is exciting though.

There was a period of time where I believed the sequel would never come to light. It's nice knowing that it's finally going to be made.

I just hope they are able to keep the tone of the book, I hate to think they'd cut corners just to secure a less severe rating.
 
Oh, I never had any doubt that the sequel would be made, it really was just a matter of time. Waiting for schedules to clear, the script to be finished and approved, getting a director, etc.
 
We could still end up with a hard R, even if they tone some of the scenes down.

Still, I'd be disappointed if anything was toned down, the whole point of it, or at least one of the points, was the escalation of it. If you tone that down then it's not really escalating much anymore now is it.
 
I hope that comment is just theatrics and deception on Aaron's part. I'm sure that some things will be toned down, but I can't believe everything will be. There's just too much stuff from the book that needs to be in the film adaptation for the audience to get the full impact and experience from the book.

I already can't wait for a trailer.
 
I can see them avoiding shooting toddlers, but no rape? Why not? It's depicted in movies all the time, and its a driving part of the plot. It's not like its just superfluous torture porn or anything. And considering the set scenes we've seen around, well, it's pretty much obvious it's going to be in the movie.
