Hey guys I was wondering how I could improve my Kelvin Timeline Galaxy class? For reference the scale is close to 830 meters. Improvements and recommendations are welcome

I'll leave this here for now, since there may be a few people in this forum who'd have some useful input for you.Hey guys I was wondering how I could improve my Kelvin Timeline Galaxy class? For reference the scale is close to 830 meters. Improvements and recommendations are welcome![]()
The timeline has been radically altered in 2233, over a hundred years before the Galaxy-class will exist. Most likely, it will never exist in the Kelvin timeline.Hey guys I was wondering how I could improve my Kelvin Timeline Galaxy class? For reference the scale is close to 830 meters. Picture is not working for me but I imagine that the scale would be larger because of how tech moved in response to a 24th century intrusion.Hey guys I was wondering how I could improve my Kelvin Timeline Galaxy class? What does technology have to do with size? If anything, tech gets smaller, not bigger.Picture is not working for me but I imagine that the scale would be larger because of how tech moved in response to a 24th century intrusion.
It was an appropriate response to a huge intrusive Romulan ship. The response by Starfleet was to go bigger. A bigger Constitution class because the Romulans had some new weapon. What does technology have to do with size? If anything, tech gets smaller, not bigger.

I thought it was just big, because JJ Abrams wanted like 30 shuttles in the shuttlebay, so they had to scale up the whole ship to Ent-D proportions? It was an appropriate response to a huge intrusive Romulan ship. So such a response would likely impact scaling.
I mean, I always took it in universe as a response to the Narada attack. Reasonably, Starfleet would analyze the Kelvin logs and determine how they could fight such a threat. Ships needed to be bigger, more capable, against a larger Romulan threat.I thought it was just big, because JJ Abrams wanted like 30 shuttles in the shuttlebay, so they had to scale up the whole ship to Ent-D proportions?
My approach to the Kelvin movies is mostly from a production POV. In-universe, too much doesn't make any sense.I mean, I always took it in universe as a response to the Narada attack. By history, the Romulan War was within living memory, since Stiles grandfather served, per Balance of Terror. So, this sudden increase in ship size and capability would be a huge tilt in the balance of power, at least from a Starfleet point of view.
So, scaling up is reasonable because that's what the enemy has done.
In universe makes perfect sense. Production info is fine but I love looking at Kelvin Universe in universe. It's a great and imaginative place to be.My approach to the Kelvin movies is mostly from a production POV. In-universe, too much doesn't make any sense.Who's Stiles?
Why is the Enterprise shields always completely useless as if they never got turned on?In universe makes perfect sense.
Don't get me wrong, I love these movies, all 3. I just don't like how they portray starships, but I do like the characters and stories.Production info is fine but I love looking at Kelvin Universe in universe. It's a great and imaginative place to be.
Oh, I probably haven't seen that in 10+ years maybe. That has Romulans in it?Stiles is from the episode I referred to in my post, Balance of Terror from The Original Series.
Higher yield weapons. Why is the Enterprise shields always completely useless as if they never got turned on?
It isn't.How is the Enterprise in orbit of Kronos and in the Neutral Zone at the same time?
It doesn't.How does the Enterprise warp home from Kronos to Earth in like 5 minutes?
One, they left later than the rest of the fleet. Two, we don't know how long the delay is between Kirk going unconscious and Chekhov's announcement. How does the Enterprise warp to Vulcan from Earth just minutes behind schedule only to find the entire fleet completely destroyed, but the Enterprise is totally fine?
To keep up the facade of Enterprise as a rogue element. Why does the Admiral Marcus shoot the Enterprise out of warp when they've already reached Earth?
Why not? Space is 3d and requires multiple points of defense. Why does the Enterprise have side-mounted torpedo launchers like it's an old wooden sailing ship?
First appearance of Romulans. Gives us the history of the Earth Romulan War., I probably haven't seen that in 10+ years maybe. That has Romulans in it?
A) This response has nothing to do with the request of the person who posted it.The timeline has been radically altered in 2233, over a hundred years before the Galaxy-class will exist. Most likely, it will never exist in the Kelvin timeline.
You know, you could easily have Googled that and already had the answer.Who's Stiles?
