My Father,
George Clayton Johnson, passed away this Christmas day at 12:46 p.s.t. He was more than a renowned writer, fan & hemp legalization advocate, he was a ...truly loving father & husband. His wife, Lola Johnson, daughter, Judy Olive & I, his son, Paul B. Johnson mourn his loss. The outpouring of love from all of you has sustained us during this difficult time. In around 30 days I'll post the info on a "lifetime celebration" party that we'll hold in his memory. If all my friends who see this post will repost it to their friends, word will get out faster & I would be most appreciative. He loved his family, friends, but he had a special place in his heart for all of his fans, who sustained him & gave him a forum to share thoughts at a million miles a second. He had a blazingly fast mind & many of you were blessed to experience that, for he spoke to you without the presumption of celebrity, but as equals sharing thoughts. He was a child of the great depression, where everyone was equal. He was the child of Charles Edward Johnson & Laura Mae Duke. He had several brothers & sisters, of which he was the second oldest. He's survived by one half-sister & many loving nieces & nephews. I loved him so & my heart is broken for he was my beacon. GOD bless you all. He loved you & he always will. Peace on earth, goodwill to man. God damn it! Let's have peace & love on earth. We're one lost & broken family & we need that truth to sink in. Love is the answer (and you know that, for sure). Dad understood some truths deeply....understanding, tolerance & love, and above all, we're all the same and should be cared for as human beings...no homeless...no hunger, but charity for all. Make it so. Sincerely, his proud son, Paul.
