OK, here's a drawing of Kazon I've decided to do for somebody else over at Spacebattles.com and it's WIP so far:

What do you think?

His head is missing their signature head coral reef is the only thing I can relate it too.. lol

Yes. It looks more like a Klingon/Vulcanoid hybrid to me

While you are clearly a good drawer, I still don't see a Kazon. If I had come across this randomly, without the thread title, it would have never occurred to me that it was supposed to be a Kazon.

The hair throws me off especially and the ridges are off. Oh, and they don't have eyebrows.

I agree, though it could be Seska and Culla's son. But I'd like to see more Cardassian features.

Thanks for the feedback guys - the reason this Kazon is not typically Kazon is partially because of my art style and this being a drawing for somebody who gave specific instructions to draw them according to their redesign of the Kazon aliens (I drew the Kazon as a more refined pseudo Klingon).

Anyway here's a couple more updates on my illustration:

maybe the Kazon are very very distant relatives of Klingons? Like Romulans are to Vulcans :)

^One of the major complaints about Voyager that there were too many "Alpha Quadrant" elements showing up during Voyager's journey in the Delta Quadrant such as Amelia Earhart and the Ferengi.

Making the Kazon related to a beloved species that are even familiar to those who don't follow Star Trek would be too much for some, especially since the Kazon is a lame and dumb race the Borg wouldn't even assimilate
