Red is one of my favourite characters. Whenever I get into a new show, I always look up the actors biographies to know more about them. When I looked up Kate Mulgrew, I was intrigued to learn that she played the only female captain on Star Trek. So I discovered her through OITNB instead. I hope Vee is gone for good!

Yes Kate Mulgrew is fantastic in everything she is in. I love her in Mercy where she plays a wonderfully comic role, but you have to wade through all the rest of the much to get her little scenes.
