Life imitating art again?

I disagree, to a point. Of course every story with some basis in fact will look "absurd" from time to time...
http://screencrush.com/orange-is-the-new-black-season-2-finale-disappointing/ ... but Vee's death wasn't a random act. It was FATE.
Vee came into prison with the plan to put herself back on top of the dung heap known as Litchfeld. To that end she used, seduced, bullied many of the inmates not to mention nearly killing two people (Poussey & Red) to get her way.
One of those people she bullied, however, was more dangerous than she could have ever imagined. It isn't "cancer" you don't f*ck with (season 1 quote), its a person who has
nothing left to lose (season 2 quote). Poussey may have delivered that season 2 quote, but it describes Miss Rosa who literally has only weeks left to live.
Weeks left to live in a facility that imprisons her and gives her crappy food while withholding possible life preserving cancer surgery.
Miss Rosa doesn't need much at this stage of the game, but respect is appreciated. The respect the lady guard gives, the cancer kid eventually gives, that Morello gives, even the hug that Piper gives.
It doesn't take much to do that.
But to take that away, to be treated less than dirt by a fellow inmate like Vee was an insult that would not be forgotten.
An insult that would be avenged by the woman who unlike Red, had nothing left to lose.
Yes it was funny, yes it was kismet, but in this world where what goes around (Vee arranging the killing of JR and the beating of Pousey), comes around, Vee certainly DID deserve it.
