These past four episodes have been zooming by real fast at I think 22 minutes. I wonder if it's to do with the MOTW battles abruptly ending to justify being 2 part episodes
Is there any mention of if they are keeping the 2 part episode structure permanent throughout the series, or it's just for the beginning few eps?
True, but not every series followed the 2-part structure, some did, some didn't.2-part arcs have been pretty standard in Kamen Rider since it was revived in 2000.
Based on sources the format of the series will be
-Episodic Two-Parters for the first half
-Serialized Second half
That's new, I've never seen them do a deliberate Half & Half setup so cleanly. From August unconfirmed sources said the first half will be two parters probably why we got 24 episode titles revealed
The second half will be standalone episodes
Because production is 5 months ahead of broadcast since Gavv/Gozyuger for the sake of the China market so they have got 23/24 episodes in the can already and are further ahead script wise. From August unconfirmed sources said the first half will be two parters probably why we got 24 episode titles revealed

I just rewatched the first four episodes on the playlist -- I'd been meaning to all week, but lost track of time, so I did them all at once before episode 5 tonight. I noticed a few things.
In episode 1, apparently the Nightmare was in Baku's own dream, but I'm not sure what his subconscious desire was. The Nightmare seemed to be trying to talk him into despair and giving up, so does that mean he was subconsciously suicidal? Anyway, a glowing figure reached out and pulled him out of the nightmare and into the Zeztz base/office/whatever -- I think it was probably Nem.
I want to say the since the nightmare was based on the revolver he used as secret agent in his dreams that it was his subconsciousness telling him to give up on his dream
Yeah, bringing her into the lair/office/command center/whatever brings her a step closer. And we've seen how fond she is of delivering kicks. They're really teasing her as a future Kamen Rider.
I don't any female rider got a bike of their own.
How about "Toei & Tokusatsu General Discussion"So is there any interest in renaming this thread? It's primarily about Kamen Rider now, and Power Rangers news is thin on the ground. "Kamen Rider and General Tokusatsu Discussion" would seem to make more sense these days.
How about "Toei & Tokusatsu General Discussion"
As famous as Kamen Rider is right now, Power Rangers has more American Brand recognition due to it's lengthy history here.I think that's too unclear to general readers. With Kamen Rider streaming in the US now, it could gain a new audience, people who don't necessarily recognize the name "Toei" on sight.
I mean, the Ultraman thread is named for Ultraman, not Tsuburaya. Star Trek threads are named for Star Trek, not Paramount.

So how about "Power Rangers, Kamen Rider, & General Tokusatsu discussion"?
It's interesting, there is some news according to Wikipedia on Power Rangers.Hmm, maybe, although it may be a while before there's any new Power Rangers news to talk about.
In March 2025, it was announced that Hasbro Entertainment and 20th Television would be producing a new live-action Power Rangers series for Disney+ with Jonathan E. Steinberg & Dan Shotz in talks to serve as writers, showrunners, and executive producers.[56]
On April 2, 2025, Toei Company president & CEO Fumio Yoshimura revealed that Toei Company is not involved in the live-action Power Rangers reboot.[57]
Could this be the first original Power Rangers series w/o using a existing Toei IP & ReBranding it?
