Oh, I was reading that only as an onomatopoeia for "meow." I didn't make the connection.
Wouldn't it be funny if MAOU's driver were voiced by M•A•O?
Evidently they want to evoke "myth" and "my" (first person possessive) as well as "mice," and the "th" phoneme is approximated in Japanese by "su," so "My-th" is pronounced "mai-su," which is a homophone for how they'd pronounce "mice."
I know Toei loves puns and stuff but this is an example of doing too much in my opinion, they're not even really evoking anything, the target audience just looks at the katakana or listens to the announcer and says mice without thinking about it further.
Even english speakers probably won't think about it too much because Toei does a lot of wacky spelling, after Gotchard, Gavv and ZEZTZ I don't think many people watching the show look at My-th and think "myth" they probably think it's just Toei being Toei and overcomplicating the spelling of mice or maybe that's just me.
I think most Japanese people can probably read Latin script. After all, they have to learn two kana systems and kanji, so what's a fourth writing system in the mix? And the karaoke lyric subtitles in the theme songs always render the English words in Latin script. And Japanese shows always depict English as the primary foreign language taught in grade school. (Although I took four semesters of Japanese in college but have almost completely forgotten how to read kana, and never got a handle on kanji.)
But I won't deny that the wordplay this time is kind of overcomplicated. For that matter, the mouse/cat armor designs are a bit on the nose. I'm not the only person who made a Tom & Jerry joke:

It would be, but it's not a female antagonist, so I highly doubt she would be voice acting that character.
And I doubt she would be the driver's voice, it would definitely be fun though if she were.

There have been a handful of female driver voices for male Riders before, including the Quizdriver in Zi-O, the Crosshopper (Hopper-1's transformation-item form) in Gotchard, most of the Gochizou in Gavv, and the Gbuckle Mark 7 in the recent Agito movie.
Yeah, MY-TH is kind of a weird design, and the cat ones are too blatantly catlike.
So they're from the 1920s? That could be interesting, if we get a look at what 1920s Japan was like.
I'm still not sold on the "Sash Driver" as the optimum location to have your Driver.
The Belt is classic, it's in a good location, and Modern Drivers are still "Too large, bulky, & Toy-riffic".

I think it's a nice variation. It works visually, since you can do a mid-close shot of the hero's face and torso as he equips the driver, without needing the contrivance of him holding it up within the camera frame before putting it on his belt.
The slimness of the MY-TH suit would make you think we're getting the first female as the primary rider. Just look at the other 7 past suits and you could tell "That's going to be a guy in the suit"
The news leaks say MY-TH is the butler to the female lead, which means it's a male character. Since he's a mouse Rider, it makes sense they'd go with a slight build.

Is this a lineage rider? Passed down from generation to generation? Looks like MY-TH may have had a female user in the past?
I like the overall design for MY-TH, but the big swoopy things coming off the head and shoulders look kind of awkward to me, and little dangerous when you're fighting. Someone could get a foot or hand stuck in those.
Damn, I was hoping to give Jetman another show once I was done with ZEZTZ. I liked the episodes I watched before, I just got side tracked and never got back to it. That happens to me a lot, I'll be watching one show, but then something else comes out and distracts me and I forget about the first show.
It's not like these costumes have ever been designed for practicality. But yeah, those "mouse ears" and shoulder loopies are kind of weird. I really liked Zeztz's base form because it's sleek and straightforward and functional, but this is going back to a more impractical and overcomplicated look.
MY-TH poses and the "Beast Wars" Theme song is playing the background. Truly a weird time we live in
Its a tough time to be a Kamen Rider fan that legitimately hates Tom & Jerry 
I still have never gotten past the first episode of Zeztz and I don't see my self watching a cat & mouse Rider. Hopefully next year they go back to something with more of a "serious" or "cool" factor.
In more positive talk I've been enjoying Gavan Infinity and I'm going to miss it, its short run took me a bit by surprise but I think what we got has been solid and a nice tribute to Gavan/Metal heroes while still being its own thing.
