Kamen Rider My-Th’s true name is Sora Otosumi (portrayed by Ikuho Akiya)- a devoted servant to the wealthy Mizuki family. Sora is described as confident and firm but with an unpredictable side.
The current heir to the Mizuki family is Yuna (played by Riko Horikawa) a young girl with enormous responsibilities.

Together they encounter strange creatures known as The Inexplicable!

Appearing as well is a stranger named Kamuri Minetaka (played by Keisuke Higashi); an iron hand in a velvet glove. Kamuri also has the power of a Kamen Rider- he becomes Kamen Rider MAOU!

Hmm, I never commented on Zeztz "Case43: Split." I don't really like the idea of Sieg getting a redemption episode, since I've never liked the character. And I'm coming to feel that the fight scenes have become too CGI-driven, cluttered, and hard to follow.

I wonder if the scene of Baku getting confused about whether he was in dream or reality was an admission that the show has been kind of unclear about that lately.

"Case44: Efface" was underwhelming. It looked like it was going to be a big important Nem episode, and it kind of was, but it was mainly the season's second clip show. At least the first clip show felt meaningful because the clips were how Baku filled in the other characters about his premonition. Here, the clips and the expository narration just felt tacked onto a fairly superficial frame story.

Gavan infinity finale was after kamen rider Zeztz. It was timed to not take away the focus of the Gavan finale with something big happening in Zeztz

It reminds me of when Donbrothers made a nod to Kamen rider Revice finale

Come to think of it, there was also a big revelation in this week's Meitantei Precure, which airs immediately before Kamen Rider in Japan. (They've been doing a mystery arc setting up four candidates for the secret identity of the new Cure, which was revealed this week. I guessed right due to a subtle detail in her focus episode a couple of weeks back, her ability to do something only the Cures and villains could do -- even though I missed an obvious clue in the sound of the character's given name.) Even though magical-girl anime is theoretically aimed at girls and the toku shows at boys, I get the impression that there's a fair amount of crossover between the audiences. And I remember hearing (perhaps from you a while back) that the reason Kamen Rider has more female heroes these days is in hopes of getting the Precure audience to stick around.
 
Just common courtesy/ sportsmanlike behavior. They all support each other. It's not like Kamen Rider is trying to steal viewership from other shows that might need it like a freshman restart of Metal Heroes.

Interesting that the Omegahorn trailer has YouTube subtitles. Is it too much to hope that means they'll livestream the series on YouTube? But then, why start with the second Project RED series instead of the first? (Maybe to see how the first one did?)
 
Zeztz "Case 45: Hallucinate" is mostly a Nem-centric episode set in the dream world The Lady created for her, although Oblivion insists on messing things up, and Zeztz isn't as much out of the picture as The Lady thinks. It was fun to glimpse what Nem's career might have been like in the real world, starring in a magical-girl tokusatsu show called Supergirl Sheriff Galvan, a nod to Space Sheriff Gavan and its just-ended pseudo-remake Gavan Infinity, though Nem's hero form was neither high-tech armor nor a magical-girl dress. We also got a glimpse of an idol stage show, and I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't get to hear most of her song. The ending raised more questions than it offered answers, but presumably the next episode will explain things.

Meanwhile, it looks like Omegahorn is not being livestreamed on YouTube. I didn't really expect it to be, but I was hoping.
 
I'm up episode 30 of ZEZTZ and I have to admit, the big twist when we hit the middle of season really caught me off guard, I was not expecting something like that at all.
I keep thinking the guy playing Seig would be a great Joker, he's got that great kind of unhinged energy that great Jokers tends to have.

Oh, late notice, but tonight's Zeztz episode won't be released on a repeating loop before getting archived in the on-demand list tomorrow afternoon, but will debut in on-demand form tonight at the usual 10:30 Eastern, i.e. about 7 minutes from now (though I'm sleepy so I'll watch it tomorrow anyway). This is the same way Ultraman premieres new episodes, and it's much simpler, so I hope they keep doing it.
 
Zeztz: "Case46: Resurrect": Okay, we finally get explanations for what happened during the last two episodes. Apparently nearly everyone in the real world has vanished along with their dream selves, which was asserted as what would happen, but wasn't very clear, since it's often confusing what's happening in dreams vs. what's real. I don't really feel the show has handled the dream/reality divide all that well in its second half, often paying little attention to the distinction.

Naruhisa Arakawa has been head writer on some of my favorite Sentai seasons including Dekaranger, Gokaiger, and Kiramager, although his only previous KR series as head writer was the very first series of the Heisei revival, Kamen Rider Kuuga, which I wasn't fond of. But that was long ago and before his Sentai work, so hopefully I'll like what he does here.

Nakazawa was head director of Wizard, Ex-Aid, and Geats, all of which were strong seasons. Fujita was action director for Geats and Gavv. Takaki is one of my favorite Japanese TV composers; in addition to scoring Gotchard and co-scoring Zeztz for KR, he scored Abaranger, Shinkenger, Lupinranger vs. Patranger, and four consecutive seasons of the Precure (aka Pretty Cure) anime franchise (Doki Doki!, Happiness Charge, Go! Princess, and Mahou Tsukai Precure).

Hold on, there's no cat in the Chinese zodiac? Well, it does have a tiger, so felines are represented. But wait, there's no mouse either, just a rat. But those are both called by the same word, 鼠, in Asian languages (shǔ in Chinese, nezumi in Japanese, etc.).
 
Zeztz "Case47: Save" is pretty much all setup and no payoff. The core characters are restored, and they start looking for where Odaka is in the dream world, but they don't find him. And Baku fights Oblivion (who I thought was already defeated) but it ends on a cliffhanger. When Nem used the Exdreamrise Capsem, I thought we were finally going to see her become a Rider, but no such luck; she's still caught in feeling guilty and unworthy of existence. Instead, we get the return of Sieg/Dawn, which I could really have done without.

In the scene where Minami finally met Nem in reality, I thought for a moment, "Gee, Nem is surprisingly tall," but then I remembered that her default costume includes those insane platform shoes that add several inches to her height. I wonder why they did that. According to her official profile, Maho Horiguchi is 165 cm, or 5'5", which isn't especially short. But Ryutaro Imai (Baku) is 181 cm/5'11". So maybe it was to make it easier to fit her in the frame with Baku, the one she interacted with the most. Or maybe the idea is to convey her dreamlike nature by keeping her feet literally off the ground. Or I dunno, maybe it's just the fashion for idols these days.
