Justified--The Final Season *SPOILERS*

Yeah, but it still could next week.

The whole episode was top notch and I wasn't even sure why until I read The A.V. Club's review of the episode: It comes down to the rare moments of brutal honesty that occurs in this episode, whether it was between Boyd and Ava, Raylan and Winona, or even when Walker gunned down the EMTs. The review is well worth reading.

Another fantastic episode and not just because of the Ghost of Arlo. This episode shows yet again that one of the show's greatest strengths is the banter between Raylan and Boyd and I will sorely miss it when the show comes to an end.

Speaking of which, things are out in the open between Raylan and Boyd, just in time for the final five episodes. Kind of like the final season of The Shield between Vic and Shane, except here, Boyd is infinitely smarter than poor ol' Shane.

^And Boyd fell for the trap--hook, line and sinker. And Raylan knew he would never be able to resist.

So, does anyone else think Wynn was the rat?

^ I have no idea. It looked like it was built into the side of a hill or something. It was very dark, so it was hard to tell.

Where did that door in Arlo's shed lead? Is my spatial awareness off? Did it lead back into the house?

I think it was located underneath the house like a weird basement, and it's built into a hill. Raylan walked up a shallow hill to the shed door, but he could have been doubling back after coming around to the rear of the house.

The reason I think it was under the house is because there's a wood floor that forms the roof and a wood structure above the concrete "shed," and there's another door on the far side that Raylan didn't even bother to check. Since he wanted closure about what was in the shed, I doubt he'd leave a whole room unexplored, so it's probably a locked stairwell back up to the house. He also didn't explore the wood structure above the concrete shed, so I think that's just the house too.

What an episode. Firing with all pistons.

Wynn Duffy was the rat (and is again).

Loretta swinging some serious balls.

Zachariah makes his move against Boyd, nearly costing Boyd's life and pushing him to make brash, stupid decisions.

End game is nigh.

And yet, the best part of the whole episode: "Here comes the Douchemobile."

I just love this show.
I'm just wondering if anyone will be left alive after the last episode finishes.

Oh, I totally knew it was Wynn. Called it! I wonder if Wynn's Boy Friday will turn on him in a fit of "conscience?"

My favorite line: "Well, that's going pretty high on the list of things I wish I'd never seen."

Loretta is her usual awesome self. I hope she ends up owning the valley.

My Favorite line was..Here comes the Douchemobile.

^That WAS pretty damn funny.

So...anyone want to place bets on who doesn't make it out of the finale alive?

I don't why Avery gave up $10,000000 to save a women who he knows betrayed him?
At the very least I would have thought he would have gone there and killed them both.

Sad to see Mikey (er, Michael) and Katherine die (but what way to go!), but I find it hilarious that human cockroach Wynn Duffy lives to see another day.

We're almost at the end. I realized the other day that'll have to wait two extra weeks to see the finale because I'll be on holiday in the Greek islands (I know, woe is me).

Holy crap on a cracker!! Mikey, you IDIOT!! Wynn scurries away like the insect he is; I agree with you there, Emh.

I soooo want to see Raylan blow Boon's head off. What a slimey little bastard that guy is. Maybe Loretta will get him first.

At this point, I'm kinda hoping Boyd and Ava take each other out, as well.

I'll actually be disappointed if Loretta doesn't take out Boon (assuming anyone takes him out). Her character deserves better to become a damsel in distress.

I'm torn on how I want to see Boyd/Raylan/Ava showdown should go. Maybe it'll be a three-way and they all take each other out at the same time, just before Art and Tim show up.

This is me yelling at Bob as he drove up the mountain, getting closer and closer to Boyd:

As good as it would feel to have Loretta take out that weasel Boone, they've spent too much time setting him up as someone who is a genuine equal to Raylan's prowess with a gun, so it's got to come down to an old fashioned duel between them (as the preview seems to bear out). I think this is the first time Raylan's faced someone with an equal skill as a shooter and who is not an idiot.

Kudos to the actor playing Boone too for making him so unlikeable and menacing with only a few appearances to work with. He's become one of the most memorable villains in such a short time.
