I loved the first season and was sort of lukewarm on this second season for maybe the first half. I'm not entirely sure why, either. There's nothing I can point to and say it was missing or different. That said, it really has been kicking into overdrive and it's hard for me to see a way out of this season without a bunch more people either dying or heading for the hills (and if they want to live, make it hills somewhere far away from Kentucky).
Dickie? There's no way he can get away with this if indeed Helen died at the end of last episode. Even if she survives, I can't see Arlo not hunting him down. And what about Boyd? He broke his contract with Mags, and despite her current state of mind, I'm not so sure she'll sit back and let it slide. And depending on where Raylan fits into all of this, I am going to be surprised if he still has a job at the end of the season.
Now since we know there will be a third season and since it would be pretty silly to not have Raylan in it, lawman or not, I do have a person I would like to see as a main antagonist for at least part of year three: Duffy. I think he has a great/weird presence and there's a number of stories where he could be the bad guy.
