Yeah much like TNG the last two years are the hardest.
For a long time my season order from favourite to worst was: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Which was nice and fucking neat. Then one day five went above four and maybe 3 and ruined everything.
Just started VOY! What do I have to look forward to?

I think VOY had decent episodes and terrible episodes spread all over all 7 seasons, imo. Also, some episodes with great stories but terrible character scenes.
Imo, VOY's problem was rarely that individual stories were terribly bad, but more what did *not* happen: Foremost, consistent writing of the characters, character growth and development, and the stamina to keep that for longer than 45 minutes. Especially contrasted with DS9.
If you can look beyond that, you'll probably be sufficiently entertained by quite a few worthwhile episodes.
