Seconded. It finally felt like the space-warping thing it is.

It also feels POWERFUL. Travelling toarp takes a LOT of energy, and the new effect reflects it nicely.

I didn't get any sense that Warp 4 was maximum warp. There is a point where, after the ship's been damaged, someone suggests that a certain end can be achieved if Scotty can get the ship up to Warp 4.
