Just came back from BayouCon and got to meet Max Grodenchik (Rom), Vaughn Armstron (Admiral Forrest & 11 other characters), and Larry Nemecek (author of the TNG Companion).
It was great. The convention ended up being small, REALLY small, but still it was a blast. Saturday night an audience of about 15 of us got treated to a show by Max and Vaughn doing some musical numbers. They were really relaxed and were cutting up a lot. It was so casual that afterwards my buddy and I had a couple of shots of Canadian Whisky with Vaughn, lol.
They're both very nice guys and kept commenting on how we were all some of the nicest people they'd met at a convention. Said it was small, but they had a lot of fun.
The interesting thing is that last year I got to meet Chase Masterson, so in two consecutive conventions they had Lita and then Rom.
Also got some video of Max doing the "Rom voice". Maybe I can upload it later.
Anyway, if you get a chance to ever meet either of those two actors I strongly suggest it. They were extremely approachable and if I'd asked they (or at least Vaughn) would have wanted to hit up a bar and get some drinks, lol. He mentioned that today before we left. Very cool guys and they've got some interesting stories as well. If I can remember any of them I'll post them up.
