Ok you all, it's almost midnight GMT so I'm going to post this: Off on holiday for a few days tomorrow and not sure if I'kll get the chance otherwise! Thanks to everyone who took part this month...there has to be a winner though so, as usual, two votes and may the best poster win!

The poll will end on Saturday 4th August- hope that gives everyone enough time.

DavidFalkayn Square Circle

captcalhoun Sniper: Last Man Standing

Admiral2 More Than Meets The Optics

TimmyWl Shinzon

Dnoth "Renegade"

DulakArjal Brak

Poll is below!! VVVVVVVV

Aw crap, I put Saturday at 23.59 in as an end date but it hasn't caught. That's what I get for doing this at midnight! Oh well, winner will be whoever has most votes at 23:59 GMT saturday!

I'm going to bed now I think!!

Wasn't there a story in this month's challenge from Admiral Valeris? I think it was called Friction.

Is it not in the vote?

It was up to Admiral Valeris to include a link to the post in the original challenge thread. If it's not put in, the challenge runner is not obligated to include it.

I believe it's poor form to vote for myself, so captcalhoun and DavidFalkayn got my votes.

Ah I see. I wasn't aware of the rules. Thanks for clearing that up.

You're welcome. :D

I'm voting for:

DavidFalkayn's Square Circle

Because it was simply such a well told story which seemlessly incorparated a big-time fight with a believable post-screen scenario. Also it was a terrific character pieces for his Lexington series

and

Dnoth's Renegade

Well told, I liked the return of Chakotay and also Sintina's fight-till-you-drop attitude. She didn't win but she never ever backs down either.

My runner up would be Dulak's Arjal Brak. While it wasn't as much as a struggle as I thought it could have been I simply loved the character he created here.

Well that seems pretty clear cut- so I hearby declare DavidFalkayn the winner!!

(Apologies for missing a story out, but as Admiral2 says it wasn't in the challenge thread).

Well done David!!

Now bring on the next challenge!

Thanks everyone, I'm glad you enjoyed the story and I deeply appreciate your votes. :)

I have an idea for the next challenge and will have it up later on today.

Good job, David.

I'm perfectly content to get 2nd place. (Thanks for everyone who voted) Besides, now I have something to strive for next time! ;)

...how can I be content and strive to win next time all at once...I don't know... :wtf:
