July 8, 2016...

My question is when does filming begin? Is it going to be in Feb as planned or May as rumored? Though to be fair both months are rumors

Oh, but I understand that CBS is premiering the Captain Worf miniseries that day. No one will be going out to the movies. :(

It's all Bad Robot propaganda anyway, there is no Trek 3.
The implosion of Para Mobius over in Star Trek Fans has been most entertaining.

It is... he is now claiming that 'we were warned that paid Bad Robot shock troops were coming this week'

That's awesome. How much are they paying you Daniel?

Well, what with the Abramsverse being a massive flop in every way imaginable, they don't have much money to go around. I'm being paid in green M&M's.

It seems like it has next to no real competition on that date the week before or the the week after.

So that's a plus.

As it relates to the script problems hasn't that all just been rumors started by the less than venerable Bad Ass Digest?

I guess JJ and Co. must have embezzled the other colors.

Star Trek Fast and Furious here we come! At this point my expectations are so low I'm probably going to enjoy ST3 when it comes out- trainwreck or not.

Anyway just let the franchise rest in peace, it's had its moments, it peaked with DS9 and the legacy of the whole thing is assured. Barring a good TV series I think Star Trek has ran out of mileage, although it probably started with Voyager.
