The implosion of Para Mobius over in Star Trek Fans has been most entertaining.Oh, but I understand that CBS is premiering the Captain Worf miniseries that day. No one will be going out to the movies.

Well, what with the Abramsverse being a massive flop in every way imaginable, they don't have much money to go around. I'm being paid in green M&M's.

The only thing which is known about the script with any certainty is that Orci & Co. submitted a draft back in August.

Star Trek Fast and Furious here we come! At this point my expectations are so low I'm probably going to enjoy ST3 when it comes out- trainwreck or not.
Anyway just let the franchise rest in peace, it's had its moments, it peaked with DS9 and the legacy of the whole thing is assured. Barring a good TV series I think Star Trek has ran out of mileage, although it probably started with Voyager.

There is new Tarzan film that week. And I'm almost as big a fan of Tarzan, as I am of Star Trek. (full disclosure:Most Tarzan movies suck. I'll be watching Star Trek)
