- Thank you, M. I was toying with not having any text, but I didn't think the characters were recognisable enough in the smaller image, so the text kind of became a necessity

You spelled hieroglyphs wrong. But I guess whoever prepared that report could have done so also. I thought you were going to leave the image as is, but adding some (time meddling) context was a nice touch.

Yeah, I discovered to my frustration last night that the deadline was Friday. My mistake was reading only the thread with the poll results from the last contest. There I saw that "M" had won and went on to suggest the Egyptian motif. Thus I had no idea the years long policy (tradition, whatever) of submitting "by the end of the month" had been altered.

Still, since this thread has not been locked, I thought I'd present what I made, though it is not eligible.
