It's frustratingly hard to explain, because the new forum software automatically converts the code to hypertext, making it impossible to post an example.

Easiest thing would be to copy the url, then post something like "here is my story," select the word "story," then hit the Insert Link button.

start a new post in the thread, right-click, select 'paste'

done.

Curse you Camelopard! I haven't even logged in for weeks because I've been so busy. I just look in because there's been talk on the livejournal community that the site's down, see that it's running and think ooh I'll just see what's happening in fan fiction.

And what do I find? An irresistible challenge!
