Julian/Jadzia

To add to what I posted back in 2015, I have found some reasons why Jadzia is better with Julian than Worf:
50 Reasons Why Julian Is A Hell Of a Lot Better for Jadzia than Worf
And I also found this archieved page from 2003 why they would have been a good couple:
Reasons why J&J belong together!
Let me know what you guys think but I am expecting to get alot of disagreement though.

NOTE: This is a continuation from this thread:
Jadzia and Julian - The Trek BBS
In the beginning I thought Jadzia was far sophisticated than Dr. Bashir, and her tastes in men were broad. Bashir was a ladies man, and he was finding himself as the lead surgeon on the Outpost. As the seasons progressed (4th-7th), Jadzia became less interesting while Bashir became a superman or was revealed to be one; I could see them as a fit if Jadzia stayed her course of sophistication as Bashir made his reveal. I couldn't think of any story ideas of this paring but it would be okay, I guess.

Fair point. Everyone has their own opinions on everything I guess.

For Julian/Jadzia to work he would have needed a lot of growing. The way he approached her at the beginning wouldn't work for her. She seemed to be the only woman Julian was incompetent at flirting with, he put himself below her which nobody finds attractive. Whereas all the other women he was assertive and confident.

If they could work through that, have him get over her and have a phase where she started to be interested in him while he was no longer interested, then maybe it would have worked. I thought it was right to put her with Worf, except I wish they did fewer 'Jealous asshole vs button pushing brat' episodes.

It is really funny that we all have different opinions on all this.

I do respect everybody's points but in my opinion and this is just my opinion, Julian/Jadzia were better.

Going a bit offtopic here but .... suppose the Worf/Jadzia baby would have survived, and suppose Ezri/Julian had a baby later... would these two have been considered family? They'd be both children of "Dax" after all ....

Who knows, there might have been fictional stories about this, but we will never know what happened.

However, going back on subject, what stopped Jadzia being unique was being Klingon which she got off Curzon and with Julian, Jadzia would have been far more unique and happier in my opinion. Yes, there would have been arguments but it would have been far superior to the way it went with Worf as that is copying Curzon if that makes sense.

Yes, I think so. More like cousins who see each other every couple of years at the reunion, but family nevertheless.

Julian would probably be afraid of having a baby who was mentally impaired due to genetics, like he was.

I don't think so. I think that would fall under some of the taboos of 'reassociation' among joined Trills.

Keeping friendships from one life to the next is one thing, but maintaining a relationship with a child would not really be a new start for the symbiote, and not really fair to the new host.
