Very interesting and cool to watch after all these years:cool:
Sort of bittersweet to watch this. It reminds me how great show TNG was/is:techman:..but also reminds me that the glory days of the series have long gone..and the films really didint give the show justice:borg:
1994..time really flies, doesnt it?
I wonder why these documentaries/programs never get released on DVD..thank God for youtube, huh?;)

I don't have time to check it out this week, but is this the special that aired back to back with AGT? I remember that night well.

I remember this weekend like it was Yesterday. They had the Viewers Choice Marathon (After all these years I wish they had made a weekend out of it instead of 5 episodes and do a top 10) and then they had this special, and then on my affiliate they played Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

I actually watched the special on youtube last year and it was pretty good. Kind of irrelevant now that we have the DVDs and special features, but there's some good stuff in there like where the bathroom is.

I remember this special. Our local FOX affiliate really made a big deal about TNG ending. There was the Viewers Choice marathon and then this, and then All Good Things.

Many of the interviews are on the various TNG DVDs, including interview material with Frakes which was not in the special. I recall the gag about the bathroom and we were even treated to a bit of behind the scenes footage from GEN when Kirk says, "Take her out."
