Journey to the Center of the Earth

Given that this classic has been remade a myriad of times, my Q is this:

Given the choice, would you journey to the center of the Earth?

You mean the actual geometric center, or just some fantastic environment at an indeterminate depth that's populated with dinosaurs and fossils?

I ask not for reasons of realism, but because I have never seen any version that gives the impression they visited the actual center of the Earth. (Or indeed, came anywhere near the center.) Including the original story. They just journeyed a ways into the interior of the Earth.

Which way did you mean it?
