Journey to the Center of the Earth-is DVD 3-D?

I have this recorded on cable and I don't think that is in 3-D, even with glasses. Is the DVD in 3-D and if it is, what sort of glasses do you need? There are the red and blue ones. There are also some that look like sunglasses. I have them left over from Aliens and Monsters.
