Jodie Whittaker is the 13th Doctor

Honestly, I only expect the regeneration scene to make a vague reference to the gender change. Something like "long hair this time, and oh, this voice doesn't seem as deep most of the others. Not Scottish either, now that's something of a disappointment."

Ah. After the boob jokes, lack of a penis jokes, what's next? Menstruation jokes?

Alien- Are you threatening me doctor?

13th doctor- Don't make me angry! Especially not this month! I'll reign daleks and cybermen down!

And this is how the Valeyard is born. The doctor had PMS LOL

Yeah, even Matt Smith said "blimey, I'm a girl!" when he felt his hair.

Maybe they'll have her go on about not being ginger or Scottish for a few minutes before she realises the other big change.

Are they going to follow the tradition that has been established of showing a naked Doctor at some point? Is the world ready? Is the Internet?

After the regeneration, have the usual Doctor in the wardrobe scene trying on new outfits, and after a montage where five minutes flash by on a clock, "Well, that was boring... I thought playing dress up would be more fun now."

It would "crash" the pacing and admittedly, pointless, but imagine Whittaker trying ensembles that some of her former companions sported, Zoe's glittery catsuit, Jo Grant's blue boa, Sarah's "Andy Pandy" overalls, Leela's leathers, Romana's...(oi! Which to choose?!), Tegan's flight attendant uniform, etc.

I agree that going for the crude boob joke would be a big letdown... In fact, I really hope the only "I'm a girl" reference stays with the hair/nose/fingernails, etc... I think the casual fan will be expecting the boob/penis thing and that it would be refreshing not to pander to that. Just my two cents..

I don't see what would be so pointless about this, we had a similar scene of Sylvester McCoy trying on various outfits worn by previous Doctors for his wardrobe selection scene.

And Tom Baker trying on a few....outfits in Robot. It wasted all of maybe 5 minutes and was funny.
