OH MY GOD. How do we know she went to these sex clubs in three different countries?? We don't. For all we know her husband could have given her the brochures or the big sex tour schedule he had planned out for their summer vacation and she could have balked right there without ever entering the premises. We do not know those details.

I was wrong about my speculative brochures (but sex clubs were legal in the US before AIDS, they were advertised on late night cable tv. And since I know one person who had her engagement party at a BDSM club in NYC about ten years ago I'm thinking they probably still are.)

Why is this good luck? A. It got him a lot of positive PR. B. Going to the House might well have made him a "back-bencher" for a long time.
