Jason Isaacs Reveals his condition for returning to Star Trek

Because Prime Lorca is a major protagonist of Drastic Measures' main story, which is set 10 years before DSC Season 1.
Right, but you couldn't reason that there was an epilogue or framing device set in 2256 by my mentioning the book? Or did you think I wasn't paying attention and was being ignorant?

The writers had Admiral Cornwell declare that Prime Lorca couldn't have survived on his own in the Mirror Universe for a reason.

Of course there's a reason: Cornwell was (justifiably) a bit upset when the Lorca who turned up on the show, ended up being the mirror version. So naturally she'd be a bit pessimistic at the possibility of her Lorca ever returning to her.

I'm sure Cornwell knew her Lorca well enough to know that he could survive in the MU. (As has been said right here in this thread, if MU Lorca can make it in the prime universe, then the reverse is certainly possible as well.) So once she gets over the shock and sadness she felt, she probably calmed down a bit and realized that her Lorca is still out there somewhere.

Yeah, because in the whole history of Film and TV characters who have died or been declared dead have never ever shown back up.

Except for Soap Opera characters. And Ziva from NCIS. And Kate Kane from Batwoman. And Davros, the Daleks, and the Master/Mistress from Doctor Who. And Luke Skywalker and Yoda from the Star Wars franchise. And Kirk, Scotty, Spock, the Borg Queen, and the crew of Voyager from the Star Trek franchise.

The chances of the writers changing their minds are very slim at this point.
Unless you work on the writing staff you have no idea what they may or may not do.

So, I'll repeat what I said: Prime Lorca is DEAD.

So is Arnold Judas Rimmer, BSc., SSc. from Red Dwarf. Yet his character is still around.

It's like these characters are experiencing emotions and might be unreliable sources of information. I know, it's weird.
