No Janeway has never been sexy, if she was they wouldn't have needed Seven of Nine. Mulgrew however can be sexy when her attitude doesn't get in the way. A moody personality detracts from sexiness.

Well the question is, is she 'sexy', so I would think that hormones would have to be involved.

Regardless though, she's not sexy to me. One of the biggest turnoffs to me is her voice. She sounds like a dude.

Sorry, but if seven years didn't make her sexy, one ep. isn't going to work.

However, that ep. did make me repect the characters intelligence. Janeway was nobodies fool. They should have made Janeways hobby chess. She sure knew how to put people in deep check.

I think that's an important distinction, and I'd make the same one! IMO, Kate can certainly be sexy, but Kathryn rarely seems to be a sexual being at all.

I agree, especially after seeing the first picture in "The Sexy Kate Mulgrew picture thread, Part 4". Not sexy.

I thought Janeway was especially sexy when she played off Chakotay... when they were bantering and teasing/flirting. Their sizzling screen-chemistry gave the Janeway character's hap-hazard/unfocused femininity and sexuality focus for me. Otherwise, she was a captain who just happened to be a woman which I guess is how it should have been, but that would have been too dull and a waste of having a woman captain in the first place. It was nice, seeing her relaxed, flirting with and touching Chakotay so often... it reminded me that she WAS a woman

Janeway looked so pretty in her pink, satin jammies with her hair down. The funniest and best interaction between her and Chakotay was the one with the supposed poison in the coffee. That was really cute.

Yeah, that sounds about like their reasoning. So instead we're supposed to believe that a woman in her prime, who presumably didn't actually make any vows of celibacy (since, after all, she's neither Deltan nor a female religious), would rather live like a nun for the possible rest of her life. That's not science fiction -- that's fantasy.

I like to think that, when Voyager got home, Janeway took advantage of the opportunity to let off steam in the biggest possible way. Admittedly I can't quite picture it, but I do like to think it!

Great scene, and the only one that I bought the relationship.

Hated the jammies. They seemed out of character. Plus the hair was a bit much.

I think KM is sexy in her own way. But I agree with ILC-the moments where Janeway flirted with Chakotay, I found those quite sexy. I don't find Janeway sexy, but she's very attractive, especially with her hair down. I especially liked the ponytail-type hair style and the bob of course. The bun just made her look too dang strict.
