The film hasn't been cancelled. Everyone just pipe down and cool off. There's been nothing on reliable websites or on TV entertainment and gossip shows to substantiate this rumor and the so-called "leak e-mail."

Someone in another thread complained that Quinto's latex Spock ears aren't pointy enough. Never mind the fact that Nimoy's own ears changed shape in each and every movie between I(TMP) and VI, sometimes more than once in a single film!

It is a little known Vulcan ability--the ears change shape according to atmospheric density, the frequency of the sounds they are attempting to capture and to reflect "mood swings" (the internalized feelings that Vulcans suppress is externalized in this fashion).

I thought all serious Trek fans knew this.
