so far today I think I've seen people spell 'whine' or 'whining' as 'whinge' or 'whinging'
about 3 or 4 times . . .

now to rescue this thread from the pointless category
my question is this:
what spelling or grammatical errors grind your gears?

"Then" when used for "than" is tops, followed by "should of/would of" instead of the proper "should've/would've" (should have/would have).

So I think that's five of us who'd agree what really "grinds our gears" is people thinking a word is a mistake just because they haven't heard it before.

In Heroes threads, Candice is often spelled Candace. Why? I have no idea. (If someone comes along with a link to the official site saying it is indeed Candace I'll eat my own chin out of sheer despair. Again).

Your instead of You're (and vise versa)

Or for that matter, when people use visa versa.

Others include: "I could care less." "He gave the tickets to Joe and I." And one I've seen quite a bit lately: "Your a moran!"
