Seems like their best bet is to increase advertising. They've got next to none as it is.

those analogue dollars he is talking about alot of those are based on network TV, (supported by ads) so the bigger question is why are shows not attracting the same level of advertising online as they are on TV.

Pay TV is not creating analogue dollars, so it wont create digital dollars.

Websites like Hulu are part of a still developing market for TV, so to cut to pay becasue the market is not developing as fast as you would like, is not going to help grow the market.
