This was a GREAT cliffhanger, but I am partial to the shot of the Federation fleet at the end of Call To Arms. My head almost exploded.
Yeah that's my 2nd.
My head did explode! Luckily I had a spare with me that day. That was the cliffhanger to beat all of them, even BOBW.
The ending to In Purgatory's Shadow was awesome too. I first saw it at a Star Trek fan club meeting, and everyone was blown away. We very quickly put in the next tape to see what happened next.
Not sure how much mention it is going to get, but I really loved the ending to Jem'Hadar. What a way to introduce a new race to the Trek fold.

Call to Arms is good, abeit very predictable.
The Adversary's cliffhanger is pretty good.
I think without a doubt the best one is the last scene of Favor the Bold.... COME ON GUYS!!!!

I would say runner up is In Purgatory's Shadow, since the first scene of By Inferno's Light is the best scene of all of Trek.
The Adversary's cliffhanger is pretty good.

Tears of the Prophets is another good one. Not the best, but a dispirited Sisko returning home was a bit of a stunner.
I really wish she had returned in some form. I guess the writers felt they wanted to go in a different direction and didn't want Eris to come back, which brought on Wayoun, but it would have been cool to see her again, like in "The Ship" or something.
Definitely Call to Arms. But Broken Link too with the zoom in on Gowron and Odo declaring him a changeling imposter.
The Federation losing and then a massive attack fleet? Never saw that coming to be honest.
This may being going off topic a little but I thought one of the most heart stopping moments was in "The Di Is Cast" Its the whole scene from the moment Tain says "So much for the Dominion, open fire!" (that would be a great line for a cliff hanger) but then when they realize its a trap and they find out how many Jem'hadar ships are waiting for them. After all this time that moment still gets me.
I think it was to show us a variety of Vorta, so when we learn there are 100s of them, maybe we're supposed to think they're all different?
Kilana, Borath, Eris, Yelgrun were all interesting and well played... once. Keevan I can do without...

I've also always been partial to the end of The Changing Face of Evil with the birth of Damar's rebellion and Sisko declaring him the Alpha Quadrant's only hope. No shocking revelations or anything, but there's a real sense of urgency and momentum generated by that heading into the next episode.

Wasn't surprised in the slightest, given the technological superiority of the Dominion. Then, you ally them with the Cardies (who were kinda pushovers, but very cunning people who managed to Stalemate the Federation and Klingons in previous wars)... I still wonder how the Federation won the war, since it shoulda been over by the sixth episode
