Yeah this competition feels very niche and I'm unsurprised that there has only been the one entry thus far, although I am a little surprised that one entry isn't @tharpdevenport.

Yeah this competition feels very niche and I'm unsurprised that there has only been the one entry thus far, although I am a little surprised that one entry isn't @tharpdevenport.
That's been the rule in contest after contest after contest in the Misc. avatar contests -- no film or media. Didn't seem to bother people before.
I didn't enter because it's my contest and at this point if I enter and I get one vote, that would make me the winner.
My apologies for any confusion. I wasn't actually trying to argue against the "no media" rule. I don't think anyone has a problem with that, since as you mentioned, it is basically a standing rule in these contests.
I just meant that your OP specified that it had to be "our" pumpkin... one that we actually bought/owned/carved/whatever. Some of the usual entrants have already pointed out that this is problematic for them. I was just wondering if you would allow us to enter pumpkin pictures of other peoples' pumpkins that we found online? This might allow more people to enter who might not otherwise be able to.
Of course, it's your contest, and if you want to restrict it specifically to photos we have personally taken, that is certainly your choice... your contest, your rules. But since you want more entries, this might be something to consider.
Well, I haven't had a chance to do any more searching for my old picture, but I took this one yesterday at my Mother's house. Hopefully it qualifies as "mine." 
This seems to have died a slow death. Like a Pumpkin still around in December.

Well, it's @tharpdevenport 's thread. It's up to him if he wants to change the theme or not.
I wasn't going to buy one, but I had intended to take a picture of the pumpkin bin at Wal-Mart today, in hopes that that would be close enough, since it would have been my own photo, anyway. Unfortunately, they were all gone. So I've got nothing.
I didn't mean that @tharpdevenport change the theme, I actually meant that @It's the Great Pumpkin - Kai "the spy" should start his own Avatar contest given this contest has been open well over a week now and there are two entries and @tharpdevenport hasn't said anything in here since the weekend, plus he hasn't come forward with an entry.
OK. They put this display up at work today, so I snapped a picture of it. The pumpkins aren't mine personally, but I took the pic, so I hope this is OK.
Today is the last day for entries. The vote thread goes up sometime Saturday; I'll give a final warning before it.
Final call for entries. The vote thread will be up in an hour or two.
