I had a couple potatoes the other day, and I made some potato soup with onions and corn and all kinds of seasoning. Turned out really well, though I did use a bit too much crushed red pepper.
Cant beat home made soup i often make my own vegtable soup never done a meat type one yet. My other half dose a pretty good soup using chinese ingredients too, last one she did was a noodle type soup thingy
As Trekker was saying, this is Chili weather for me, love me a good pot of chili this time of year, all cold and wet outside. We are getting our first snow of the season on Saturday.
propita, that storm we had on Tuesday wreaked havoc on my area. The flooding was bad but much worse was the fallen trees in Sacramento. Several houses and cars had lots of damage and the streets are still filled with tree limbs everywhere, making my daily bus rides a real pain.
I had chicken noodle soup that day as well, the kind you can buy fresh at Costco in the big plastic container. It was very yummy.
It's the same in this part of the world, time for the hot stews and soups. The weather has turned wet and cold, also time for more wrapping when going outside.
