I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT ROB HAL.

No one got the reference.

All I know is that it is a reference to something awesome.

Back when I was still a comical troll I posted a "CaptainWacky rates the mods" thread in QSF (can you imagine how long something like that would stay open now?) where I was fairly scathing about most of the mods ("AlexR: Does he even exist?") but said the above about Rob Hal, the then moderator of the TNG forum. But this was eight years ago and I'm surprised even I remember.

CaptainWacky, I'll admit that I did not catch the reference at first, but now that you've refreshed my memory, I CLEARLY remember that thread! Classic reference. Well done, sir.

I browsed the internet archive's Trekbbs pages for a bit, to see if by chance your post got archived, but alas, could not find it. Quite the stroll down memory lane though.

So how do you think you would grade nowadays T'Bonz? I'll be you're as power-mad as you were during the days when you and I sat around the same Briefing Room table...

First of all, do you mean StarMan? New Zealander? Spent a little too much time with his sheep?

Secondly, before a couple of days ago, it had probably been three years since I had last been here... crazy how time flies. It's been ten years! TEN YEARS!!!! I feel like it was just yesterday when I was in the *original* Star Wars forum fighting off them Ewoks... But yeah, I figured it had been such a long time that I may as well grace the board with my presence again.
