I'll probably be going with my dad. He won't want to go on opening weekend though so I may have to go by myself before that. My girlfriend had said she would go with me but then she dumped me, hah.
Okay people; its time to start figuring out who will have the honor of seeing this new movie with you. My wife has calle dibs, but I am seriously thinking about sneaking out to see it at the 12am showing...
Then again, maybe not. If she found out I did see it with out her, it could be the end of our marriage!!! you know women!!!...
My son, 5 year old, wants to see it too. But I will not take him on that first showing, and to be kind, I will take him at the 1030am showing. By the way, if you see movies at 1030am, do expect kids to be there running around...
However, if you're one of those people who brings five year olds to movies at 10pm??? You're kids should be taken from you...forever!!!
Okay...so who will you all be seeing XI with for that first time...and you know what they say..there is nothing like the first time.
Rob
That's actually a good thing. Gets you a free ticket out of a chick flick. My girlfriend will not be attending.![]()

The impression I get is that it should be fine. If I recall correctly, there was an interview with Pine that says the movie will get "steamy" but it won't get into full-on sex land. I would suggest going with your dad, and if you deem it appropriate and worth a review, take the niece to it. But, it's Trek, so I doubt it'll get all that bad.PS. my niece is 8 and might want to see it as she's fast becoming a Trekkie AND a Star Wars addict (she's seen all the Clone Wars eps so far). do you guys think it's okay for an 8-year-old to see this thing? what about that scene with Kirk and the Orion woman? is this gonna be PG-13 etc?

I'll probably go with friends after I've already gone to the 12am showing
it's going to be a great week with Transformers 2 coming out on the 2nd and Star Trek on the 8th
I'm taking vacation that week![]()
