The destruction of the USS Enterprose in TSFS.....

....the death of a beloved character arcing out of orbit while the crew look on.

Dialogue was superb too.

I was thinking about this earlier today. The (gratuitous!) shot of the saucer burning apart actually upset me as a kid.

And it still did when I was 20.

I always really liked the chase scene between Voyager and Equinox. Firing torpedoes at warp speed, hiding in the atmosphere, and the eventual ending where Equinox explodes.

Another TWOTW and SOA mention. I was amazed by those effects shots. They really completey re-invented space battles on Trek and just looked fantastic, I think.

Also, at the time I remember finding the explosion shockwave from Praxis in TUC really cool.
