It's still possible not all of "Destiny" might be overwritten. From what I've read so far there's been no signs of an active Borg collective. If that holds true you could potentially say all Borg still collected by the hive mind were taken in by the Caeliar, and they just left freed Borg unaffected. It's a slight change but it doesn't negate the whole shebang necessarily (unless the Borg as a collective have appeared or have been noted to still be a threat).

The characters in Picard have spoken of the Collective as something still presumed to be active in the galaxy, and the technology on the Artifact is still potentially hazardous, with the last assimilation having taken place c. 2383 according to the warning sign.

...and Memory Beta says that Picard: Countdown mentions the Imperial Romulan State.

I don’t recall that title being in those comics anywhere, though I’d be pleased to be proven wrong.

Well, hopefully I'll get to read it soon and find out. I've just discovered the Hoopla online library, which has a ton of digital comics available for borrowing, and I've been reading through all the IDW Trek stuff they have that I haven't read yet (though they only let you borrow 10 things per month and I'm up to 8 after just a couple of days). They don't have Picard: Countdown yet, but they have most everything else, so I assume it's only a matter of time.
