To be fair, even though I'd read the theory on here, I didn't believe it until shortly before the reveal. Unlike the Voq thing, which I was pretty convinced about early on.
 
No one started guessing he was from the MU until after Jonathan Frakes leaked that it was showing up in that season.
Frakes revealed that there would be an MU episode a week before the show premiered and two weeks before Lorca even made his first appearance. Were people supposed to look into a crystal ball or something? Of course they didn't start speculating that he might be from the MU until after we had actually seen his character in action, but it was a fairly widespread bit of speculation long before the actual reveal of his origins. I thought he might be from the MU early on and when Lethe aired (the episode where he sleeps with Cornwell) that made me more convinced of it. I posted a long list of reasons why I thought he was from the MU in TNZ last November (reposted here later).
 
It's cute he thinks the story was so politically telling, just saying ;) Like, like the good guys are worse than the bad guys because they use the bad guys 'evil' methods to win the day.

Nice one! Actually I think he's right the good guys talk a good talk - only.
