RIP, Issac Hayes.
First Bernie Mac, now him. I just read on the IMDB that both Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes are in a movie together later this year called Soul Men. Looks like this movie is even more cursed than the Dark Knight.

Wow, this was a surprise. I remember him best on Stargate, oddly enough.
Very very shocking news. He was a true pioneer.
Some years ago he appeared on either the Tonight Show or Letterman with a
full orchestra and back up singers and did the "Theme" live, complete with
the obligatory wah-wah pedal guitar. It sounded better than the recorded
version.
I'll never forget the night he won his Oscar, when came up to the stage with
his shaved head (then considered excentric and way out there) and the chain
link shirt. It has to be one of the highlights in the show's history.
