Is Star Trek - The Next Generation your favourite?

It can be asked in two different ways;
- Is TNG your favourite Trek series?
- Is TNG your all time favourite series?

In my case, yes and yes, TNG is the best Trek and the best series ever.

For me TNG is my least favourite Star Trek series and has the weakest cast aside from Stewart. There are some stories that were just bloody great but too few and far between.

Generally enjoyable, but all too often extraordinarily dull. It has the amazing capacity for making space missions feel like grocery store runs for bread and shrimp.

I put TOS, DSC and DS9 all ahead of it.

TNG is my favorite Trek series slightly Snead of Enterprise and quickly rising Discovery. It is my #3 overall after Babylon 5 and The West Wing.

No. While it has some brilliant episodes and great guests like John de Lancie it will always be behind DS9.
DS9 is ahead because of great story arcs and brilliant guest stars like J.G. Hertzler, Marc Alaimo, Jeffrey Combs, Casey Biggs and so many others. No other Trek show offers such multifaceted characters.

But I like both TNG and TOS equally.

Yes and probably yes. I'll say that DS9 is probably the best but TNG is still my favorite. I haven't watched too many modern shows and there's probably lots of them that can surpass TNG but I haven't watched them yet.

I love Star Trek: The Next Generation but it's not my favorite, that honor goes to Star Trek from 1966. TNG really expanded the Star Trek universe for better or worse but that series was a fun ride to the stars.

Maybe and maybe. Star Trek is probably my favorite show of all time but to me Star Trek
includes TOS, TNG, and DS9. How boring it would be to have only one series to watch.

TNG was my first Star Trek, and it has my favorite characters and cast. For the first 3 seasons, when it had great music and was still an adventure show, TNG is probably my favorite Star Trek but TOS and DS9 compete for a very close second.
