I didnt feel that his ears got pointy before towards the end of part 3.

I rather like Vulcans. I think we humans will end up like either them, or the Ferrengi in the future.

Hmm. I wonder what a Ferrengi-Vulcan mix would be like. In a episode of Enterprise there is a scene where a Ferrengi has the hots for T`pol, so it could happen if the genes fit the same way they do with Human-Vulcan hybrids.

Well, four decades of Trek stories strongly suggest that they're self-deluded in that regard when they aren't lying outright. Their portrayal closely parallels the culture of certain strict religious sects and denominations whose members believe themselves to be more moral, as self-defined, than others while their behavior as individuals belies any real distinction from those around them.

Weren't you the one decrying the abuse of chavs and thugs against "high-achievers" and that they broke into your apartment and had you beaten because you were reading a book? I sense some cognitive dissonance. Beside, the guy is big and a bouncer for 20 years. He could probably kick a lot of asses.

As for the his theories, I'll get a quick look into them. Given this guy's IQ, I don't think I will understand them, but I want to see if they trigger my bullshit detector.

I only watched a few minutes, but at the start he said something about having a theory that will make faith unnecessary.
I don't really care about that, I just wanted to say that I don't know how much having a very high IQ will help with that kind of thing.

Thats part of it. He also said something about everyone being connected to each other, and that a smart elite trained in the ways of logic should rule the world, himself being one of them (I think its okay to have a high self-esteme on such things, to say that he would not be one of them would be to not have faith in his own theory) Easy-going eugenics would also be a part of it he says, claiming that it is illogical to not do it.

Since god proves his qualities through "cohesiveness" found in the universe, it becomes some sort of spiritual-devine trip where logic replaces LSD (in combination with meditation perhaps) as the vehicle to elevate one self into higher spheres.

I also liked his attack upon education. In the future we probably wont have schools and class-rooms anymore. Its just way too primitive and innefficient, specially where I am from. Now with the current over-production crisis and everything it have even become a tool to waste resources and keep as large parts of the population as possible passive and under strict control, that why all the politicians suddenly cry out for more of the bad stuff.

As I've said, I've yet to delve into his stuff. The youtube videos are unbearably boring (and since he mutters more than he talks, as someone who speaks English as a foreign language, I find it difficult to follow him sometimes). Better to go directly to his website and look around.
