Is there a Section 31 cover-up of Deep Space Nine?

Forgive me if this has been covered already, but is there somethin weird with Deep Space Nine's distribution rights? Of all the Star Trek's, it's the only one that I can remember just one time after the initial run where it was syndicated. Then come the other day every Star Trek in God's creation is available on Netflix Instant 'cept DS9. Is this a Cylon conspiracy or what?

Ya I know those aren't on Netflix mate, but since I don't remember seeing DS9 in syndication much I was just wondering if there was some reason that show of all of them hasn't seen much distribution after it's original airing. Seems weird to me since it was such a strong show.

DS9 was on Spike tv for several years. they pushed it back to late night airings before finally removing it completely.

Totally remember that. Was it ever played after? Don't mean to beat a dead horse but I was just wondering if there was some reason why DS9 has been kind of shelved in comparison to the other shows.

They used to be on Hulu, but are now on startrek.com, and only episode previews are currently available. Weird.

Mid/Late-DS9 just wasn't syndication friendly. The story arcs just made it impossible for somebody who isn't a Trekkie to follow unless they watch it from an earlier part of the show. A shame, because the story arcs is what makes DS9 far much more unique than other Trek shows. The rest of the Trek series were all basically standalone with the exception of the occasional two parter.
