Is There a feud in Star Trek XII?

According to the National Enquirer tabloid, a feud is brewing aboard the new USS Enterprise. Two actors currently filming the untitled “Star Trek” sequel have been at each other’s throats. The pair got along on the first film, but they’re bigger stars now and bigger divas.

This information is preliminary, of course, and entirely rumor.

Saldana did some big movies, Pegg is sort of a star and Pine is doing his own movies.

It's those damn fermenting tanks in the brewery. They got the big "warp core eject" scene at the end of the last movie, and the lens flares are threatening to walk out unless they get the grand finale this time.

Not that I'm aware of. I just meant that I'm more familiar with them that I am the cast of XI, outside of their Star Trek work. But, who knows? Maybe that'll change.

True or not, let's see if the story takes legs. If it does, it may be time for damage control and J.J. authorizes the release of at least a few official tidbits from the shooting so far.

Enquiring minds want to know. And with all this secrecy, what they don't know, they'll make up.

Of course, the hand-wringing conclusion all us Trek fans should jump to is the story is completely true, and combined with Quinto saying a while back that the script was still evolving, and with all the super secrecy around shooting, it's obvious the film is a fiasco.

Not very. The "National Enquirer" is a rag tabloid that's prone to stories of little credibility, gross hyperbole, or down-right fiction. Still, it comes up with enough kernels of truth every now and then that it can't be completely dismissed.
That's why if the story dies here, there must be nothing to it. But now, if in the light of no real news about filming, the mission of every tabloid journalist becomes to check this story out, it may gain legs even if it's not true, or it just exaggerated a real but minor disagreement between two stars. Then again, someone else may find there is something to it. Time will tell.

Not that I'm aware of. I just meant that I'm more familiar with them that I am the cast of XI, outside of their Star Trek work. But, who knows? Maybe that'll change.

My point is, most of the XI actors work in film, not TV. So you're not going to find them on "new shows".
