As it is, if you read the thread you might unwittingly discover that PoD contains reference to the meta-genome plot element of Vanguard.

But if you put (PoD spoilers) in the title then you give away to everyone that PoD involves some Vanguard-related plot point...

PoD doesn't even contain any Vanguard spoilers anyway, it just uses the metagenome as a plot point.

And? That's not that big a deal. Just because you know it's referenced somehow, that doesn't mean you know specifically how, or how big or small a role it plays. It's hardly enough to "spoil" the story in any meaningful way.

Also, while I saw the requests to change the thread title here, really the way to actually bring something to the attention of moderators is to hit the notify mod button, not just posting in the thread. While I endeavor to read as much of the two forums here I moderate as I can, I don't get to all of the threads all of the time, and neither does Rosalind.

My point simply being that changing the thread title would give away almost the same amount of information. It's insignificant I agree.
